William Connolly

William J. Connolly, 77, of Wakefield formerly of Everett died on Friday, May 20 at the Boston Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Everett on January 20, 1934 he was the son of the late Patrick E. and Margaret M. (Waltz) Connolly.

Mr. Connolly was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1952. He was a member of the Local 67 Carpenter's Union. Mr. Connolly had been a Wakefield resident since 2005.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Joyce) Connolly, his three daughters; Peggy Connolly of Newton, Susan Tuminelli and her husband Frank and Patricia Duffy and her husband Brian all of Wakefield and his son William J. Connolly, Jr. of Lynn. Mr. Connolly is also survived by his four grandchildren; Kaitlin and Samantha Tibbetts and Kelsey and Nicholas Tuminelli.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
