William Donovan

William E . Donovan , 84, of Stoneham formerly of Lynnfield died on Saturday, March 20 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Winchester on August 8, 1925 he was the son of the late William D. and Mae G. (Smith) Donovan .

Mr. Donovan was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1945 and Boston College, Class of 1950. He was the owner of Royal Label Company in Dorchester. Mr. Donovan was a former member of the Wakefield Elks.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine (MacDonald) Donovan , his son John S. Donovan and his wife Elizabeth of Seabrook, NH, his two grandsons Jack K. Donovan and Thomas W. Donovan and his brother Donald F. Donovan of NH. Mr. Donovan was predeceased by his daughter Kathy A. Donovan and his brother Robert S. Donovan .

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St, Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
