William Holland

William J. Holland, 85 of Stoneham, died Saturday, February 21 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Malden on July 9, 1929 he was the son of the late Harold J. and Louise R. (Goggin) Holland.

Mr. Holland was raised and educated in Malden, before moving to Stoneham where he had been a resident for more than 40 years. He was a retired Manager for Stop-n-Shop in Stoneham.

Mr. Holland was the beloved husband of Claudette I. (Pelletier) Holland. He was the loving father of William J. Holland, Jr. and his wife Vicki of Coral Springs, FL, Kathleen L. Praik of Woburn, Laurie A. Wilson and her husband Richard of Andover, Nancy B. Cotter and her husband Gary of Wakefield, and David E. Holland and his wife Lizanne of Lawrenceville, NJ. He was the brother of the late Edward Holland. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Holland's funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home.
