William Joyce

William M. Joyce a life long resident of Wakefield, died Thursday, August 8 at the Beverly Hospital.

Born on November 7, 1940 he was the son of the late Walter C. and Grace E. (Manning) Joyce.

Mr. Joyce was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1958. He had served in the U.S. Coast Guard during Vietnam. He was a retired plumber.

Mr. Joyce was the husband of Jean E. (Dennehy) Joyce. He was the father of Jill A. Joyce of Burlington, Sandra L. Walsh and her husband William of Tewksbury, and Cynthia McGrath and her husband Dan of Reading. He was the brother of Kathleen Bigelow of NH and the late Richard Joyce. He was the grandfather of Erika, Evan, Ella, Meghan, Erin, Daniel and Molly. He was also the uncle of Karen Bigelow, Christopher Joyce, Erin Spencer, Carrie Dennehy and the late Michael Joyce. Brother-in-law of Marion Dennehy and Diane Joyce.
