William McNulty, Jr.

William F . McNulty , Jr ., a longtime Stoneham resident, died Tuesday, July 3 at the Winchester Nursing Center at the age of 91.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Mae (Surette). He was the devoted father of William F . McNulty III and his companion Elayna Evans and Scott H. McNulty and his wife Elaine (Bates). He was the father-in-law of the late Doreen (Carrabino) McNulty . He was the loving grandfather of Tyler McNulty . He was the brother of the late Kay Skow and her husband Fred, Peg Bucklas and her husband Ray, Dot Carboneau and her husband Joe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. McNulty was born in Haverhill and shortly after moved to Stoneham. He was a graduate of Stoneham High School. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and was also a retired Police Officer from the Town of Stoneham. Mr. McNulty enjoyed painting and traveling to Vermont and various overseas destinations with his late wife.

Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7pm.
