William Palladino

William Palladino

William V. Palladino, 88, a long time resident of Wakefield died on Friday November 17 in Clearwater, FL.

Born in Boston on March 5, 1924 he was the son of the late Frank P. and Anastasia (Maglio) Palladino.

William was a graduate of Boston English High School and Boston College, 1948. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army before enrolling at Boston College. He was a retired executive from Massport.

William was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield. He was also a life member and past Gand Knight of the Wakefield Knights of Columbus Council #104, 1958 and 1959 Knights of Columbus District Deputy, 1965 – 1968.

He was the husband of the late Rachel (Osborne) Palladino. He was the father of Mary Ann Barrucci and her husband Peter of Seminole, FL and the late Richard F. Palladino. He was the brother of Monsignor Alfonso G. Palladino of Boston and the late James T. Palladino.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10:o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friend will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
