William Strogilis

William Strogilis, 96, of Stoneham died on Sunday, May 1 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Boston on July 16, 1914 he was the son of the late Charles and Stamatia (Aronis) Strogilis.

Mr. Strogilis was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute, Class of 1937. He had been a longtime Stoneham resident and was the founder and retired owner of the Stoneham Sign Company. Mr. Strogilis was a member of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Woburn. Mr. Stogilis was a navy veteran serving in World War II.

Husband of Jennie R. (Orsillo)Strogilis. Father of Charles Strogilis of No. Salem, NH. Brother of the late Angela Constantine. Funeral service in the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn on Thursday at 11 o'clock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
