William Tracy

William F. Tracy (Bill) passed away surrounded by his family on February 2, 2022 at Lahey Hospital.

Born in Boston and raised in Newton Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Harold and Amy (Shields) Tracy.

Bill had an outgoing personality and was willing to help anyone in need. He owned and operated real estate and insurance businesses for many years. He loved classic cars, boating, and spent many summers fishing and lobstering off the coast of Plymouth, MA. He was also a devoted Red Sox fan. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time on his boat cruising the Charles River.

Bill is survived by his wife Jeannene, daughter Amy and her husband Robert, son Michael and his wife Erin, son James and his wife Angela, as well as six grandchildren: Hannah, Andrew, Matthew, Rebecca, Mitchell and June.
Bill will also be remembered by the Frain family with whom he became very close over the past several years.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.

At the request of the family, services will be private.
