Wilmer Potter

Wilmer F. "Mike" Potter, 90 a longtime resident of Wakefield died Monday October 5, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in East Fairfield, VT on December 25, 1918 he was the son of the late Loren and Bessie (Leach) Potter.

Mike was a graduate of Bangor Maine High School and the Airmen Technical School in Springfield, MA. He was a retired Foreman for Delta Airlines. Mike was a member of St. Florence Church, the Minute Man Sportsman's Club, and Danvers Fish and Game which he was also the past President of.

He was the husband of Wilhelmina (Tular) Potter. He was the father of Dennis H. Potter and his wife Christine of Stowe, VT, brother of Helen Vinal of Union, ME and grandfather of Kelly and Kara Potter.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Saturday at 10am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8pm. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
