Winifred Rogers

Winifred M . Rogers , age 94, of Reading died Monday, November 28 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Born in Acton, England on September 1, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Amy (Cramwell) Crowe.

Mrs. Rogers was raised in England before moving to the United States. She had been a US Citizen for more than 60 years. She was retired from the Indisco Company of Norwood. She was a past member of the Red Hat Society and was a member of the church choir as both a singer and pianist.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter F. Rogers . She was the loving mother of Lorna Y. Crocker and her husband Bob of Reading, Philip Rogers of Bow, NH and his late wife Mary of Portsmouth, NH and Keith Rogers and his wife Nancy of Randolph. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Cox and Lorna Crowe. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Heather and Terrance Crocker, Rebecca Cato, and Keri Rogers , Michael Rogers , Philip Rogers Jr. and Tina Zugelder; as well as four great grandchildren: Landon, Jayce, Elsa and Markus.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
